the very last day in Beijing. . .19 november 2008

Time seems to fly so fast...1 1/2 months has gone...time to go back home. Misses..

The skaters stayed through with us on the last night...we had lots of fun. We played, chit-chatted, took photos, signed on the skate, exchanged msn...Sophia and me did something for them and we hope when we have the chance to get together again, everyone will still have their part with them. Hopefully we will meet up in 3 years time. Love all of them! =)

At the airport, we tried to checked in early as most of our lugguage are overweight. Thank God that none of us has to pay for the excess weight! =) We had a transit at Hong Kong...the food in the plane wasn't as nice as what I ate when I came from Singapore...=(

last performance, last meet-up with ZY =(

Today, we had a last performance in school before going back Singapore. Many of the performers are from BiTC students, a few from our side. Mostly singing.

In the evening, we went to meet ZY for the last time too. So touched by what he did for each one us...Thanks alot ZY! WE LOVE YOU LOTS! =) Our dinner was at guo qiao mi xian again...i think it's the third time eating. Still as nice as before. After that, we went walking around this building with all the branded boutique...was quite quiet there. They already started their christmas decoration displays.

a day out with skaters!

Sophia and me went out with the BiTC skaters today. Before that, we were shopping at xidan again to do some last minute shopping for our friends. The skaters brought us out for dinner at some restaurant to try their local food.

On our way back, we played lots of games together on the bus and continued in school till the night. It's very fun hanging out with them. Love them! =)

zoo...>.<

The day to the zoo zoo zoo! I got in with a student ticket..much cheaper..thanks to ZY's help. I feel the zoo is not as nice as what we have in Singapore...the surrounding where the animals live seems to be very old...some are kept in cages..probably due to cold weather. Nothing really much to see other than the pandas..

We had our lunch at the same restaurant where we had our spegetti and tuna salad. I drank my favorite milk tea again..and probably the last time before i leave for singapore=( The moon is big and bright for the night.

798 & silk street =)

We went to 798 again in the morning to get ideas for DNO project instead of staying in the school lab. We wanted to seat the the cafe and look at the books...but to our disappointment..that section was undergoing some renovation.=( Also, we bought some bread from the bakery before going...if not eating at 798 will be expensive.

Ms clair was not feeling well in the afternoon...so we went back to school for her to rest...Later on, we were brought to the calligraphy section of the school where the students display their work piece...later on, I went to silk street with sophia, wen kai and sara to get some of the clothes we bought yesterday changed.

We had our dinner at some noodles fast food near silk street.

silk street & du men chong

Today we have our new friend with us! Wen Kai! He went out with us with ZY. Before setting off, we sold our plastic bottles to the collector. With all the bottles we had, we sold for about 2+RMB. It's kind of good...inculcating people to recycle plastics. We went to silk street today...bought some stuff..not alot coz this place is targeted to the tourist so not able to bargain much. As for dinner, we had our favourite food again...Du Men Chong! We had something new other than ji chi..which is the fish..it's just as delicious. =)

xidan again!

The two is out shopping together.

Sophia and me went xidan alone to get some stuff we didnt get yesterday.

Sophia was craving for mc fries...so she got herself a medium fries. And we had our lunch at yoshinoya. It is about the same as Singapore one. We shop for a few hours...haha
